Jayson and Alaina Lyle

Girl’s Houseparents

Alaina and I have been together since 2021 and married since 2024. We both attended the University of North Georgia where we met through the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. While in college we both led small groups and I served our men’s ministry team for three years. After college, Alaina spent nearly three years on staff with a local church.

Our experience in college fostered our desire to pursue ministry opportunities as a couple. For most of our relationship we have been praying for God to lead us to an opportunity to serve Him and to use us where we are needed.

As soon as we connected with Steve Lowe and began learning about The Joy House’s mission and the House Parent role, we knew that this was exactly where God wanted us. Alaina and I both believe the struggles and experiences we’ve had throughout our lives have helped prepare us for this opportunity.

We believe Joshua 1:19 serves as a powerful reminder of God’s wisdom and intentionality when he placed us at tThe Joy House. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lordyour God is with you wherever you go.”

We are eternally grateful for our donors! You are a critical component for use being able to provide Christ-centered restorative care to teens, families, and individuals!
